Pinehaven does require an advance deposit except in the case of Travel Protection bookings, multiple room or bookings of six nights or more.
In the event that an advance deposit was taken at the time of reservation, and a cancellation is requested for any reason at any time, there will be a minimum 3% credit card processing cancellation fee. Special event deposits are always non-refundable. Special events and long term stays may be subject to security deposit.
For all reservations, a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express) is required to secure your reservation. Your balance will be due at check-in.
Each guest reservation is important to us at Pinehaven. We are a small inn, and cancellations affect us greatly. Cancellation is free if at least 14 days notice prior to the date of your reservation is given. If less than 14 days notice is provided for any of the rooms in your reservation, you will be charged for 50% of the cost of your reservation. If 2 days or less notice is provided, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the reservation.
We understand that cancellations may be beyond your control. For this reason we recommend purchasing Travel Protection when you book your stay or purchase independent travel insurance.
Gift certificates expire 1 year from issuance. Gift certificate recipients must abide by lodging policies.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in is between 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 8:00 p.m., please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide a self-checkin procedure.
Check-out is promptly at 11:00 a.m. Should you be delayed in checking out, please ask your Innkeeper if your checkout time may be extended for a nominal fee.

Rates are based on double occupancy and may change without notice. However, rates will not change once a reservation is confirmed. Seasonal demand, holidays and special events may affect our usual 2 night minimum night stay requirement. When one night stays are allowed, rates may be surcharged.
Children of any age are allowed in the cottage. Additional person rates apply.
Children 12 years old and over are welcome in our guest rooms when accompanied by an adult (2 person maximum).
No smoking of any substance (including vaping) is allowed inside or near doors and windows on the property. No smoking on porches or decks if windows are open. Please respect other guests if using the outdoor common areas. A fee of $500 will be assessed if this policy is not adhered to.
We have a strict no pets policy in our guest rooms and cottage.
No visiting guests without prior approval of Innkeeper. Special events and gatherings may possibly be allowed but only with pre-arrangement from Innkeeper PRIOR to booking. Violation of guest policy may result in surcharges.
All vehicles must be registered with Innkeeper. Please do not park by the double garage doors. All vehicles must remain parked in the marked stalls in the lower area of property. A camera is installed to monitor the parking lot.
We do not serve breakfast, however complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate is available in the common guest area (guest rooms only).
There is a minimum $100 fee in the event the cottage requires more than normal cleaning (i.e. excessive food debris, dirty dishes, dirty fridge/stove, excessively soiled linens, etc). A fee will be assessed for damage beyond normal wear and tear. Please no glitter products in jetted tub.
Guest Wing in the Main House
All rooms have a mini-fridge. The kitchen in the main house is private, but we can accommodate requests for wine glasses, wine openers, dinner plates and flatware, etc. Just contact the Innkeeper!
